President Nechirvan Barzani and Türkiye’s Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan met in Tehran on July 30 on the sidelines of the inauguration ceremony of the President of the Islamic Republic of Iran.
Both parties emphasized their mutual interest in enhancing cooperation and advancing Türkiye’s ties with Iraq and the Kurdistan Region across various sectors. They also discussed recent regional developments and other shared concerns.
