Prime Minister Masrour Barzani met with Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan at the Republican Palace in Ankara on the afternoon of January 7.
During their meeting, they discussed the latest developments in Iraq, the region, and Syria. They also emphasized the importance of resolving issues between the Kurdistan Region and the federal government based on the Iraqi constitution and removing obstacles to oil exports from the Kurdistan Region.
Regarding Syria, both sides underscored the need to maintain peace, security, and the rights of all communities in the country.
The Prime Minister also met with Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan to discuss current developments.
