On Saturday, 10/18/2014, a benefit concert for the refugees in the Kurdistan Region-Iraq will take place at WUK (Werkstätten- und Kulturhaus) in Vienna. Despite immense efforts of local authorities and organizations, many of the 1.5 million displaced persons, which fled from the IS extremists to the Kurdistan Region, are in need of some of the most basic necessities such as food, water, and clothing.
The event is organized by the KRG Representation in Austria, with friendly support of WUK. 100 percent of the concert revenues will benefit the refugees, and will together with hitherto collected donations be brought to the region by a delegation, in order to help the ones which are most in need.
