The Kurdistan Region President, Nechirvan Barzani, the KRG Prime Minister, Masrour Barzani, and the Head of the Department of Foreign Relations, Minister Safeen Dizayee, have issued statements to strongly condemn the terrorist attack that took place in Vienna in the night of November 2, 2020. They all expressed solidarity with the people of Austria and the families of the victims. Prime Minister Masrour Barzani called upon unity to respond to the global threat of terrorism.
I condemn last night’s terror attack against civilians in Vienna. My thoughts and prayers are with the people of Austria and the families of victims; and I wish a swift recovery for those wounded in the shooting.
