The fifth Kurdistan parliamentary elections took place on 30 September 2018. The results of the election were confirmed by the Kurdistan Judicial Council, which was followed by the swearing in of the incoming parliamentarians on 6 November 2018.
International election observers, two of whom were Austrians, deemed the elections fair and free.
