President Nechirvan Barzani received the incoming European Union Ambassador to Iraq, Mr. Thomas Seiler, and his delegation on October 11.
The President extended his warm congratulations to Mr. Seiler on his appointment and expressed his best wishes for his success in his new role.
The EU Ambassador conveyed his pleasure in meeting with President Nechirvan Barzani and shared the EU’s plans for promoting economic growth, stability, and human rights in Iraq and the Kurdistan Region. They also discussed matters of mutual concern, including the situation for refugees, measures to prevent illegal immigration, and other issues.
